Starting yesterday, two extraordinary artists are working alongside the international participants of our camp: marimba virtuoso Britton-René Collins and Grammy-nominated composer and percussionist Andy Akiho.

But they haven't just come to Hanover to teach. Over the next few days, you can also catch them on our festival stages—and that is something you won't want to miss.

Britton-René Collins belongs to a new generation of percussionists who effortlessly combine virtuosity, immense musical presence, and an open-minded approach. At überschlag, she is bringing her instrument, the marimba, right to the altar.

Andy Akiho embodies everything we love about percussion like few others: he reimagines instruments, discovers new sounds, and blends composition and performance into a unique musical language—exotic and electrifying! For us, his concert is one of the highlights of this year's festival.
