Festival 2026: 19th - 23rd August
After the 2024 edition, in which we asked where new technologies and digital sound spaces could take us, we are returning to our roots in 2026.
Less interface. More skin.
Less vision of the future. More present.
This year is about the earthy, the handmade, the immediately tangible. About rhythm as an archaic force. As something that doesn't need to be explained, but passes through the body.
Raw. Compressed. Reduced to the essentials.
Old wooden beams make an industrial hall resonate.
A somewhat different marching band carries the pulse into the city – and you join in.
World stars meet local performers. A space for reflection that makes rhythm not only audible, but negotiable.
Rhythm as essence. Rhythm as encounter. Rhythm as a shared pulse. From August 19–23, the pulse of Hanover in Germany will be audible.
