Part concert, part performance, part exploration of identity — ICHOCHROMATA invites audiences to experience contemporary music through the many colours of sound.

Contemporary music, performance, electronics and voice converge in ICHOCHROMATA, a multimedia concert conceived by Greek percussionist and performer Zoi Argyriou. Featuring works exclusively by female composers, the programme explores identity, memory, resistance and transformation through the metaphor of colour.

Zoi Argyriou belongs to a new generation of artists who move effortlessly between contemporary music, improvisation, performance art and interdisciplinary creation. In ICHOCHROMATA, sound becomes a vehicle for stories, emotions and social reflection, while the stage transforms into a landscape of movement, light, memory and colour.

Each work inhabits its own emotional universe. White becomes a space of movement and transformation, pink reflects digital identities and societal expectations, black confronts questions of visibility, resistance and self-assertion, while dark red evokes strength, ambition and cultural memory.

The programme features works by Ilona Perger, Marta Śniady, Tamara Miller and Sara Glojnarić. Together with soprano Mirto Kaitanidou, Argyriou combines marimba, percussion, electronics, video and voice into a performance that is at once intimate, provocative and immersive.
