A concert for the whole family—funny, surprising and irresistibly rhythmic.
With humour, virtuosity and infectious energy, the Drum Twins reveal why rhythm is everywhere—and why there is no music without it. A family concert full of discovery, participation and fun.
The Drum Twins are Dan Townsend and Aron Leijendeckers, percussionists of the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie. Together they created No Rhythm, No Music!, a concert experience that captivates children and adults alike.
Using an impressive collection of percussion instruments, unexpected sound experiments and plenty of comedy, they guide audiences through the fascinating world of rhythm. Along the way, they demonstrate how music is created, how instruments communicate and why rhythm lies at the heart of every musical experience.
Following numerous successful performances and collaborations with orchestras and cultural institutions, the show now comes to the Überschlag Festival.
Recommended for children from 5 years of age and their families
