With his very own, filigree style, the composer, teacher and award-winning percussionist Casey Cangelosi has influenced a whole generation of percussionists like no other. His compositional style and boundary-pushing virtuosity have earned him the nickname "The Paganini of Percussion" in professional circles.
He is frequently invited as a guest artist to music festivals and seminars around the world. Casey is a jury member for percussion and composition competitions and regularly receives commissions for new works. At the Überschlag Festival he will be presenting brand new compositions as well as some of his own that have been performed worldwide.
