Violinists have violin makers, pianists have piano makers, drummers have…?
Cymbal makers, mallet makers, timpani makers, drum makers and much more. Hardly any instrument needs the support of such a wide range of specialists.
Überschlag gives some “makers” a stage. Throughout the festival, you can meet them in the small room of the Pvaillon and talk to them.
In this lecture, they then speak about how they got into building. Many of them are career changers or have been involved in the subject matter since a young age.
Every career in this field is special and we would like to offer the new generation of drummers in particular an insight and inspiration.
