Per­cus­sion is the in­stru­ment of the 21st cen­tury.
We ce­le­brate this ver­sa­tile and ch­an­geable in­stru­ment tog­e­ther with you!
From quiet and ly­ri­cal to powerful and en­er­ge­tic, over 5 days we of­fer pure per­cus­sion! In ad­di­tion to count­less con­certs, there will be dis­cus­sions, an edu­ca­tion pro­gramme, par­ties and even an in­stru­ment exhibition.

The Kul­tur­zen­trum Pa­vil­lon is the fes­ti­val centre of the Über­schlag for five days.
All mas­ter­clas­ses and a ma­jo­rity of the con­certs will take place here in­clu­ding the bg­rand ope­ning gala.
The foyer will be tur­ned into the fes­ti­val lounge. Here you will find a gas­tro­no­mic de­lights, com­for­ta­ble sea­ting, an in­for­ma­tion desk, and many other little sur­pri­ses th­roug­hout the day.
The small hall will host the in­stru­ment exhibition.

 

HOW TO FIND US
The Pa­vil­lon Cul­tu­ral Centre is lo­ca­ted in the im­me­diate vici­nity of Ha­no­ver Cen­tral Sta­tion. The Pa­vil­lon can be re­a­ched in many ways. We re­com­mend ar­ri­ving by pu­blic trans­port or by bicy­cle.

The Markt­kir­che is lo­ca­ted in the cen­tere of the old town of Han­no­ver.
Entry is via the main door.


City train:
- Li­nes 3,7 or 9 to Markt­halle / Land­tag
Bus:
- Line 120 to City Hall / Friedrichswall

From the main sta­tion you can reach the Markt­kir­che on foot in 5 — 10 minutes.


ACCESSIBILITY
On the left, nor­t­hern side of the church there is a bar­rier-free ent­rance with an elec­tric door which opens at wheel­chair height both from the out­side and the in­side. A bar­rier-free toi­let can be found next to the car­park on Hanns-Lilje-Platz.

The Aegi­di­en­kir­che is lo­ca­ted in the centre of Ha­no­ver.

The Centre for World Mu­sic is lo­ca­ted on the cam­pus of the Uni­ver­sity of Hildesheim.

- Bus line 1 or 4 stop Schill­straße, from Hil­des­heim amin sta­tion ap­prox. 20 mi­nu­tes journey.

The Über­schlag-Fes­ti­val of­fers dif­fe­rent ti­cket ca­te­go­ries. An over­view can be found in our TICKETSHOP.

 

Dis­counts
Pu­pils, stu­dents, re­ci­pi­ents of ALG II and peo­ple with grade of di­sa­bi­lity from 50 re­ceive a re­du­ced ti­cket price for day and one-way ti­ckets. Proof of eli­gi­bi­lity must be pre­sen­ted at the entrance.

Ti­ckets can only be purcha­sed on­line on our web­site or at eventbrite.de. If you are not able to buy ti­ckets on­line or if you have other pro­blems buy­ing ti­ckets, please cont­act us at: ticket@ueberschlagfestival.de.

Box of­fice
Day ti­ckets and one-way ti­ckets can also be purcha­sed at the box office.

The mas­ter­clas­ses will all take place in Thea­ter 1 of the Fes­ti­val Cen­ter — Pa­vi­lion. Du­ring the mas­ter­clas­ses the Fes­ti­val Lounge in the foyer will be open where you can get so­me­thing to eat or drink and to talk to other par­ti­ci­pants or artists.

At­ten­dance at the mas­ter­clas­ses is pos­si­ble ex­clu­si­vely with the Fes­ti­val Pass PLUS.

Most of the fes­ti­val ve­nues are ac­cess-free. Spe­ci­fic con­di­ti­ons are lis­ted in the de­scrip­ti­ons of the re­spec­tive ve­nues (Ser­vice -> Venues/Arrival).
If you need spe­cial help vi­si­ting the events please cont­act us at info@ueberschlagfestival.de with the sub­ject “ac­cess-free”. We will try to make your vi­sit to the fes­ti­val as smooth as possible. 

At pre­sent it is as­su­med that the fes­ti­val will be able to take place re­gard­less of the Co­rona pan­de­mic. but we can only spe­cu­late about con­crete in­fec­tion con­trol me­a­su­res or ac­cess rest­ric­tions (2G, 3G, 2G+). We will try to keep this in­for­ma­tion as up to date as possible.

For vi­si­tors who need ac­com­mo­da­tion for the vi­sit of our fes­ti­val, we re­com­mend a room in our part­ner ho­tel me and all. There is a li­mi­ted con­tin­gent for the price of 80 € sin­gle or 100 € dou­ble room incl. break­fast. Af­ter boo­king the ti­cket, in­te­res­ted par­ti­ci­pants will re­ceive a dis­count code for the ho­tel boo­king on request.
